Sean Freed attended UTI's automotive, diesel, and industrial program — an 18-month course that he completed in only 15 months.

Placed on the Director's List for the majority of his schooling.
9 SOP pins — Student of the Phase (Top Student in the Class).
4.0 GPA and perfect attendance, which led to his acceptance into the Porsche Training Program (PTAP).
5 months of Porsche-specific training at a Porsche training center. After graduation, Sean joined Hennessy Porsche in Alpharetta, GA and quickly rose to Senior Porsche Technician.

About the Owner

Sean Freed's Intense Passion For Cars Started When He Was Only 15.

After reading a high-performance magazine, he was hooked. Nothing else mattered but having the most powerful and best-handling car around.

Growing up, Sean's family didn't have a lot of extra money so his passion for cars was very limited. After several summers of working and saving every penny, at the age of 17 he was able to purchase a 1972 Chevelle SS with a small-block 350. It wasn't the most powerful or best-handling car on the road, but to him it might as well have been a brand-new 911 Turbo.

During high school, Sean took classes at the local trade school to learn as much as possible about becoming an Automotive Technician. By the time he graduated, he had earned both a High School Diploma and a Diploma in Automotive Technology.

At 18 he officially started his career as an automotive technician, working at a small independent shop about 15 minutes from his parents' house. After about six months, Sean realized he was ready for more — ready to build high-performance machines and work on high-performance vehicles.

About 10 years ago Sean opened FREED Performance in Cumming, GA, and has quickly become one of the top-rated and most respected European auto technicians in North Atlanta.
